The One-Stop-Shop will answer all your energy-related questions by providing impartial, expert advice and supporting your business in its journey to reduce its carbon emissions whilst also cutting energy bills.

This is the start of a journey to providing long-term support in Bridgend to reach Net Zero with 
the aim to provide:

  • Free advice service on what energy saving technologies are available and tailored advice on what would work for you
  • Energy audits and assessments to measure current energy usage and identify opportunities for energy savings
  • Helping to identify financial incentives to help you 
minimise costs
  • Educational training workshops to provide resources on energy efficiency best practices, new technologies and ongoing support for maintaining energy-efficient practices
  • Signposting to local suppliers and contractors
  • Development of skills via Bridgend College
  • Net Zero forum for businesses

  2. Reduce CO2 emissions.

  5. New or improved products or processes developed and/or introduced.
  6. Obtain a recognised relevant BSI standard/kitemark.

  1. Initial Enquiry - Complete a simple proforma outlining:
    • Your business size, structure, products, services, and financials.
    • The nature of the proposal, alignment with CCR investment priorities (infrastructure, innovation, and challenge).
    • Quantum of the investment and rationale for the chosen route.
    • Impact of the investment on regional growth, GVA contribution, job creation, and other capital investment or attraction.
  2. Evaluation - Information evaluated by the CCR Investment Panel.
  3. Strategic Case - If successful, submit a Strategic Outline Case for the proposal.
  4. Case Evaluation - Strategic Outline Case reviewed by the Investment Panel for decision.
  5. Business Case - Successful applicants invited to submit a business case.
  6. Investment Panel - Business cases reviewed for final investment decision.
